163       PEPE DE SARAPEN, DE KUTSILYO, DE DEDESEN



Sa daloy ng "pagsisilbi" mo sa gobyerno, merong kanya-kanyang haka-haka kung bakit takot ang Pangulong ikaw ay kastiguhin. Malaking bagay ang naitulong mo sa pagkapanalo niya bilang Presidente. Pero hindi iyon ang katuwiran, dahil marami nang sinibak ang Pangulo na nakatulong din sa kanya. Mas malalim doon ang rason.

Isa doon ay nagagamit ka sa paglihis sa mga usaping ekonomiya at tunay na kalagayan ng bansa. Natatabunan ng iyong "pepe at dede" ang pagtaas ng bilihin, pagtaas ng buwis, pagbaba ng palitan ng dolyar sa peso, paglobo ng utang natin sa ibang bansa.

Natatakpan ng iyong “pepe at dede” ang tunay na estado ng mga usaping kritikal sa ating lipunan tulad ng walang hustisyang patayan sa kampanya laban sa droga, at ang unti-unting pagsira ng ating mga nakaugalian tulad ng pakikipagkapwa, magalang na pakikitungo, pagkalinga at pagkakaisa. Tuluyan ang pagwasak pailalim sa ating kamalayan, sa pamamagitan ng sinadya at malawakang paggamit ng propagandang tahasan at subliminal, na hindi halos namamalayan, dahil ito'y inihahain sa pamamagitan ng isang binting mapang-akit at humihingal ang mga mamamayan sa bawat mapanuksong pagtanggal ng saplot, ng mga mala-sutlang daliring tumatapik-tapik sa “pepe” at gumagapang pataas sa “dede”.

Ito ang iyong natatanging pamana. Ito ang hubad mong katotohanan.
